This document was created for natural caregivers, their families and their support network, to provide information about the various aspects of their role. It was also designed to help people make decisions they will be confronted with as they embark on the journey of giving care to someone who depends on their help. The objectives of this guide are to provide information about the various subjects and concerns that affect family caregivers, to encourage them, to validate and support their role, and finally to increase their awareness and understanding of their responsibilities.
