In order to establish the community/regional portrait of Maternal Child Health (MCH) in the First Nations of Quebec communities, the FNQLHSSC intended to collect and analyse the most recent data on the subject. Having come to the conclusion that the information on the subject was either missing or incomplete, the FNQLHSSC team decided to develop a questionnaire in order to gather relevant data on the issue. This data collection enabled the FNQLHSSC to draft a report of the situation, demonstrating the resources and services that are already available. This report will enable the various partners to implement a maternal and child health program that addresses the needs of the communities and is adapted to the reality of the First Nations of Quebec.
