Annual General Assembly of the FNQLHSSC: “Reunited again”

Wendake, July 13, 2023 – For a second consecutive year, representatives of the communities and organizations were happy to gather at the Hotel Le Bonne Entente and in virtual mode for the holding of the 2023 pre-Annual General Assembly (pre-AGA) and Annual General Assembly (AGA).

The FNQLHSSC would like to thank the Board members for their boundless commitment and dedication to the organization and the First Nations communities and organizations. It also wishes to thank the outgoing members and wish them all the best in terms of the work they do on a daily basis.

During the pre-AGA, more than 40 participants received training on succession development, which was offered by the First Nations Executive Education and HEC Montréal. They were also able to discuss the pillars of wellness during discussion workshops aimed at creating an inventory of measures that will subsequently be used to develop indicators related to the overall health of First Nations.

During the AGA, the President, Derek Montour, shared his activity report, while the Executive Director, Marjolaine Siouï, presented the annual report of the FNQLHSSC as well as priority projects for 2023-2024.
