The meeting focused on the benefits of transforming and taking over the federal government’s responsibilities for health and wellness to a First Nations regional health and wellness body (RHWB) in Quebec. During the workshops, points requiring vigilance were discussed.
Participants had the opportunity to discover the structure of the health and wellness governance model, which is made up of the RHWB and other stakeholders. This structure sets out the roles and responsibilities of each party in order to improve health and wellness in the communities.
