In January 2020, representatives of First Nations communities and organizations continued to co-develop a concrete model of effective governance in health and social services. They therefore worked to define the regional governance structure and the functions of a new health and wellness regional body. The analysis of health and social services funding and the implementation of the tripartite memorandum of understanding signed in August 2019 were also discussed during the meeting.
