| To better support those who work with both children and families, the FNQLHSSC is providing you with emotional first aid kits. Intended for youth aged 5 to 13, the kits contain the following:
· A safety plan to support and guide the person who is experiencing suicidal thoughts in order to help them avoid a state of crisis. Anyone who has a trusting relationship with the young person who is contemplating suicide can help them write the safety plan. · An explanatory sheet to support the responsible adult in developing the safety plan. |
